10th specialist conference on the construction and operation of multi-storey and underground car parks on 8/9 April 2025 in Cologne

Since 2016, Management Forum Starnberg GmbH has been organising the annual two-day conference on the construction and operation of multi-storey car parks with the technical support of GIVT mbH. Having previously been held three times in Munich, twice in Stuttgart and once each in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/M, Hamburg and Mannheim, the anniversary will take place in Cologne.

The conferences are aimed at a broad specialist audience involved in the construction, conversion and operation of multi-storey and underground car parks - whether for a current project or on an ongoing basis. The accompanying trade exhibitions are just as traditional as the excursions and provide concrete suggestions for all areas of practice. We usefully supplement and deepen the relevant parking, construction and property conferences on current parking-related topics. Incidentally, our two car park projects at the Diakonissenhaus in Teltow (2023) and ESWE's ECC ElektroChargeCenter in Wiesbaden (2024) are concrete ‘children’ of the conferences.

Second edition of the manual and planning aid for car parks and underground garages


The second edition of the compendium published by Berlin-based architecture publisher DOM publishers, which has now also been published in English, Turkish and Chinese, has now been released with a new (1st) volume. This is the completely revised and expanded new edition of the successful handbook on car parks and underground car parks, which formulates a practical and highly topical design theory. The planning aid is based on both German and European regulations and also takes into account the recommendations for stationary traffic facilities (EAR 23).
